Awanui Group operates a national network of medical laboratories, sample collection centres and logistics services.
Awanui Group is New Zealand’s largest human and veterinary pathology network. We operate as Labtests, Northland Pathology, Taranaki Pathology Services, Southern Community Laboratories, Wellington SCL, Canterbury SCL, Medlab South and Rako Science. With 25 laboratories, over 2,100 staff and 150 collection centres throughout NZ, Awanui performs over 7 million pathology patient episodes each year.
Awanui testing laboratories are all accredited by the Independent Accreditation New Zealand (IANZ), this includes COVID-19 PCR testing on saliva and swabs.

How it works when using a Test to Travel Clinic

You will receive a reminder email 48 hours before your appointment
Bring your passport to your scheduled appointment
Our trained team will perform or supervise your test
Receive your Travel Certificate via email within 24 – 48 hours* (1 hour for RAT results)
*RAT results are provided within the hour
